So, the Tony Awards are happening over at the world-renowned Radio City Music Hall in New York tonight, and I have to say, the build-up this year seems to have been huge!
All of the information regarding the broadcast, along with very good quality clips from the nominated musicals/plays and all of the nomination details, can all be found on their official website.Unfortunately, there are no UK carriers of the awards ceremony, and so I will not get to watch the awards until later in the week. It’s such a pity that CBS don’t broadcast this further afield or re-sell the rights to foreign carriers.
Naturally, I am hoping that our very own Billy Elliot does really well on the night and, in the awards related to plays, I am hoping that God of Carnage also does well. I’ve seen both in London and thought that they were cracking.
